Fairy Tale Article Response

I think that this article is very intresting due to the fact that it explains many forms of human nature. I think this article is correct because it talks about fairy tales and their influence on young minds. As a child your mind is easily manipulated and when fairy tales portray beauty in a certain way children get the wrong idea.

The way a fairy tale affects a certain person depends on how they grew up and what sort of stories they were told. An americanized fairy tale has much more refrences to beauty than other stories. An americanized fairy tale usually forget to mention minorities and other types of people other than white.

I am Mexican American and I grew up listening to other stories. Usually the fairy tales I was told as a kid were meant to scare me into being good. Although some stories refrenced beauty the emphasis of the story didnt support it.
